Motorola One 5G is better than OnePlus 8, with a general score of 84.6 against 76. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing, it must be noted that it's also somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. The OnePlus 8 has just a bit better performance than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a brighter display than Motorola One 5G, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little lower pixels density. Motorola One 5G has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Motorola One 5G also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
OnePlus 8 captures clearer videos and photos than Motorola One 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size back camera sensor and a same resolution camera, the OnePlus 8 also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Motorola One 5G counts with superior battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has a 16% bigger battery capacity.
Motorola One 5G costs more than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
