Nokia 9 PureView is a bit better than OnePlus 8, having a global score of 76.4 against 76. The Nokia 9 PureView is a a bit lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8, but both of them have the same thickness. OnePlus 8 and Nokia 9 PureView feature similar processors, and although the Nokia 9 PureView has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
OnePlus 8 features a bit sharper screen than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a bit lower pixels density and a lot worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. OnePlus 8 captures way better photographs and videos than Nokia 9 PureView, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot bigger sensor, better video frame rate and a camera with a much better resolution.
Nokia 9 PureView's storage to store more games and applications is just as good as the OnePlus 8 one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. The OnePlus 8 counts with longer battery life than Nokia 9 PureView, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3320mAh.
Although Nokia 9 PureView is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Nokia 9 PureView, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the OnePlus 8, resigning some specifications.
