The OnePlus 9 has a general score of 76, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8's 76 general score. Even though the OnePlus 9 is newer than OnePlus 8, it's just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. OnePlus 9's processor is very similar to the OnePlus 8 one, both of them have a 8 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The OnePlus 8 features a little more vivid display than OnePlus 9. Both of them have a same size screen, the same exact 1080 x 2400 resolution and the same number of pixels per display inch. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8 count with really similar memory for apps and games, both have equal internal memory capacity.
The OnePlus 9 features a slightly better camera than OnePlus 8, and although they both have a back camera with a 48 megapixels resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a much higher video definition. The OnePlus 9 has just a little bit longer battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5 percent more battery capacity.
