Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is better than the OnePlus 8's 76 global score. The Samsung Galaxy A42 body is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker than OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way greater screen density.
