The Samsung Galaxy A50s has a general score of 86.6, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's 76 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A50s is a just a little thinner and a little bit lighter phone than OnePlus 8, even when they were only released 6 months apart. OnePlus 8 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a little greater number of pixels in each inch of screen, a quite bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

OnePlus 8 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy A50s features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A50s also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.

OnePlus 8 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy A50s, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The OnePlus 8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy A50s, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same camera sensor size and the same video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger aperture and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
