Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is much better than OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. Although Samsung Galaxy Fold and OnePlus 8 were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Fold construction is a lot heavier but also somewhat thinner than OnePlus 8. Samsung Galaxy Fold features a little bit better hardware performance than OnePlus 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 has a better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher display density. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than OnePlus 8, because it has more internal storage.
OnePlus 8 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with way more MP.
Galaxy Fold counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy OnePlus 8, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
