Comparison review
Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than OnePlus 8, with a score of 80.8 against 76. Galaxy S5's construction is somewhat lighter than OnePlus 8, but it's just a bit thicker and was released many years before. The OnePlus 8 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster).
Galaxy S5 features a bit more vivid display than OnePlus 8, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen. OnePlus 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
OnePlus 8 has a way better battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels and better video frame rate.
Galaxy S5 costs more than OnePlus 8, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
