Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is much better than OnePlus 8's score of 76. Although Galaxy S6 Edge is way older than OnePlus 8, it's body is a little bit thinner and way lighter. Galaxy S6 Edge has a slightly better screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's storage capacity to install applications and games is very similar to OnePlus 8's one, both of them have equal internal storage. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little better processing power than OnePlus 8, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64 bits processing unit.
OnePlus 8 counts with a superior battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 65% larger battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor and a larger diafragm aperture.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, giving up a couple features and specs.
