Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip is better than OnePlus 8, with an 88.5 score against 76. The Galaxy Z Flip construction is just a little thinner but just a bit heavier than OnePlus 8, and both of them were released with only 2 months difference. Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better hardware performance than OnePlus 8. Both of them have 8 cores and a 8 GB RAM.
OnePlus 8 has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little lower display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because it has more internal storage.
The OnePlus 8 has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh. OnePlus 8 shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a same size camera aperture and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a much larger sensor and a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 8, resigning some features and specs.
