Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. The Xperia Z5 Premium has the same weight and thickness than OnePlus 8. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a better screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much higher screen pixel density.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a better storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
OnePlus 8 features greater battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 3430mAh. OnePlus 8 captures much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a way more mega-pixels camera, faster video frame rate and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
