Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 6 has an overall score of 76.5, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8's general score of 76. Despite of the fact that the Xiaomi Mi 6 is notably older than OnePlus 8, it's construction is a little lighter and a little bit thinner. The OnePlus 8 features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with much more brightness, a larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
OnePlus 8 features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. OnePlus 8 has a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a camera with lot more mega-pixels, better video frame rate and a way bigger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi 6's storage capacity for games and applications is very similar to the OnePlus 8 one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 8 features greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 3350mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi 6 is a better device, it is more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 6, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 8, giving up some specs and features.
