The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than OnePlus 8, with an 81.4 score against 76. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is older than the OnePlus 8, it's construction is lighter and just a little thinner. OnePlus 8 features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, much more brightness and a little bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's storage capacity for games and applications is just as good as OnePlus 8's one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have a 0.5 inches camera sensor, a same resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has higher video frame rates.
