Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is much better than OnePlus 9 Pro, with a 93.3 score against 76.6. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 11 OS. Xperia 1 III is a a little lighter and just a bit thinner phone than OnePlus 9 Pro, even though they were only released 3 months apart. Xperia 1 III features a bit superior processor than OnePlus 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a slightly better display than OnePlus 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater screen pixels density and a quite better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia 1 III has a much better memory to store more games and applications than OnePlus 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
OnePlus 9 Pro features a much better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a way better video resolution, a camera in the back with way more megapixels and a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos.
The OnePlus 9 Pro and the Sony Xperia 1 III count with very similar batteries performance.
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 9 Pro, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
