Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a global score of 79, which is slightly better than OnePlus 9 Pro's 76.6 general score. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better cellphone than the OnePlus 9 Pro, it must be noted that it is also an older, a little thicker and a little heavier cellphone. Both devices in our current comparison work with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding OS features.
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a greater count of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 3216 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features more memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The OnePlus 9 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better battery lifetime than OnePlus 9 Pro, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
OnePlus 9 Pro has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a same size camera aperture and a back camera with a 48 mega-pixels, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a much better video quality and a lot bigger back camera sensor.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also a bargain compared to others, making it a great choice.
