Samsung Galaxy M31s is better than the OnePlus 9, having an 88 score against 76. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy M31s is a just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone than OnePlus 9. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
OnePlus 9 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 9 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy M31s. Both have a better pixels count in each inch of display, a same size display and exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The OnePlus 9 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 9 also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M31s features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s counts with superior battery duration than OnePlus 9, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.
