Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 9's overall score of 76. Sony Xperia 5 is an older phone than OnePlus 9, but Sony was able to build it a little thinner and lighter. The OnePlus 9 and the Xperia 5 have very similar processing units, and although the Xperia 5 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xperia 5 has a slightly better display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a quite higher screen pixel density. OnePlus 9 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs, a camera with lot more megapixels and a much better 7680x4320 video quality.
Sony Xperia 5 features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB. OnePlus 9 features a really longer battery life than Xperia 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia 5 is more expensive than the OnePlus 9, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
