The Xiaomi Mi 5s is a bit better than OnePlus 9, having a 76.4 score against 76. The Xiaomi Mi 5s construction is extremely lighter and a little thinner than the OnePlus 9, despite of the fact that it was released 5 years before. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 5s has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while OnePlus 9 has Android 11, so it gives you some extra features and better performance.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit more vivid screen than OnePlus 9, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher screen density. Xiaomi Mi 5s's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to the OnePlus 9 one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The OnePlus 9 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM. The OnePlus 9 counts with a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh. OnePlus 9 takes greater videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a way better 7680x4320 video quality, a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger aperture for better photos in low-light situations.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Mi 5s is also a lot cheaper.
