Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is much better than the OnePlus Nord's 74.2 global score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus Nord has Android 10 version, offering lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Galaxy A8 Star's construction is just a little thinner than OnePlus Nord, but it's just a little bit heavier and was released 2 years before.
The OnePlus Nord has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus Nord also has a larger amount of RAM. The OnePlus Nord features a bit better looking display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a quite better pixel density, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a quite bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features more memory capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus Nord, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 400 GB. OnePlus Nord shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus Nord also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
OnePlus Nord counts with a little better battery duration than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4115mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
