The Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is much better than the OPPO Find X's 72.2 score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version and OPPO Find X has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Galaxy A8 Star's body is just a little bit heavier but notably thinner than OPPO Find X, and they were only released with a couple of months difference.
OPPO Find X counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OPPO Find X also has a higher amount of RAM. OPPO Find X has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a just a little greater screen density and a little bit bigger display.
OPPO Find X has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting photos and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate, a 16 MP resolution back facing camera and the same video definition, the OPPO Find X also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
OPPO Find X features a better memory for applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The OPPO Find X and the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star feature very similar battery durations, although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3730mAh.
