Comparison review
Galaxy A40 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the OPPO Reno's general score of 72.8. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy A40 has older 11 version while OPPO Reno has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy A40 is a somewhat thinner and a lot lighter device than the OPPO Reno, although both of them were only released with a couple of months difference.
The OPPO Reno has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OPPO Reno also has more RAM memory. Galaxy A40 features a slightly better looking display than OPPO Reno, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bit better amount of pixels in each display inch.
The OPPO Reno features a much better camera than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a F1.7 aperture, the OPPO Reno also has a much bigger camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The OPPO Reno has a better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A40, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The OPPO Reno features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 3765mAh battery size instead of 3100mAh.
