Sony Xperia 1 V is much better than OPPO Reno, with a general score of 82.7 against 72.8. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 V has older 13 version while OPPO Reno has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Sony Xperia 1 V is a little bit heavier than the OPPO Reno, it's just a little bit thinner and extremely newer.
The Xperia 1 V features a little bit better screen than OPPO Reno, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a much better pixel density and a quite larger screen. OPPO Reno counts with a much greater hardware performance than Xperia 1 V, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia 1 V captures clearer photographs and videos than OPPO Reno, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 V also counts with better 120 fps video frame rate and a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
The Xperia 1 V has as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the OPPO Reno, they have exactly the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 V has better battery life than OPPO Reno, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
