Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than OPPO Reno's 72.8 global score. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version while OPPO Reno has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xperia Z5 Premium is an much older cellphone than OPPO Reno, but Sony could make it a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better display than OPPO Reno, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better 3840 x 2160px resolution. Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit faster processor than OPPO Reno, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processor.

OPPO Reno counts with a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The OPPO Reno counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3765mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.

The OPPO Reno takes clearer photographs and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the OPPO Reno also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor, a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low light environments and a camera with lot more MP.
