Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is much better than OPPO Reno's general score of 72.8. Although the Xiaomi Mi 8 is older than OPPO Reno, it's construction is thinner and just a bit lighter. These phones come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and OPPO Reno has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit better processor than OPPO Reno, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a slightly better looking screen than OPPO Reno, although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, a little bit smaller display and a little bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with as much memory to install applications and games as OPPO Reno, both have exactly the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. The OPPO Reno captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the OPPO Reno also has a back camera with a way higher resolution, a larger camera aperture and a way larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures.
The OPPO Reno has a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 3765mAh of battery capacity.
