Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than OPPO Reno2, having a general score of 84.2 against 73.9. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's design is extremely newer and a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than the OPPO Reno2. These devices include Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version and OPPO Reno2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.
The OPPO Reno2 has a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more vivid display than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a little bit bigger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little bit better camera than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or video in low light situations, it also counts with a lot larger sensor, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a camera in the back with a higher 50 MP resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little bit better storage capacity to install games and applications than OPPO Reno2, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a superior battery performance than OPPO Reno2, because it has a 38% more battery size.
