Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 is much better than the OPPO Reno2, with an 86.5 score against 73.9. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy M31 has a newer 11 version and OPPO Reno2 has Android 10, so it gives a couple additional features. Although Galaxy M31 and the OPPO Reno2 were only released 5 months apart, the Galaxy M31 body is a little thinner but also just a little bit heavier.
The Galaxy M31 features a little better processing power than OPPO Reno2, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Galaxy M31 features a little more vivid screen than OPPO Reno2, although it has a little bit lower pixel density, a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M31 captures a bit better photographs and videos than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more MP and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
OPPO Reno2 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the OPPO Reno2 also has 256 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a really longer battery performance than OPPO Reno2, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
