The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is much better than the OPPO Reno2, getting an 87.1 score against 73.9. Samsung Galaxy Note9's design is just a bit thinner than the OPPO Reno2, but it is a bit heavier and was released around 14 months before. Galaxy Note9 features a bit better hardware performance than OPPO Reno2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a little bit better looking screen than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. OPPO Reno2 captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OPPO Reno2 also counts with a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
OPPO Reno2 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB, the OPPO Reno2 also has 256 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the OPPO Reno2 one.
