Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the OPPO Reno2, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 73.9. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, we must tell that it's also an older, just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Sony Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and OPPO Reno2 has Android 10 version.
The Xperia XZ3 features a more vivid display than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a better count of pixels per display inch. OPPO Reno2 features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the OPPO Reno2 also has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Xperia XZ3 has a little faster processor than OPPO Reno2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The OPPO Reno2 has better battery performance than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The OPPO Reno2 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the OPPO Reno2 also has a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited environments, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a back-facing camera with much more MP.
