Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is much better than OPPO Reno5 Pro's 71.9 global score. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should give very similar operating system features. Even being the best device in this review, we must highlight that it is also an older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker device.
OPPO Reno5 Pro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. OPPO Reno5 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has way more brightness, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400, a quite larger screen and a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy M31 has just a bit better camera than OPPO Reno5 Pro, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality. Samsung Galaxy M31 features more memory capacity for games and applications than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has a 38 percent bigger battery capacity.
