The Xperia XZ3 is much better than the OPPO Reno5 Pro, getting a 79.6 score against 71.9. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, the Xperia XZ3 design is much older, much thicker and somewhat heavier than OPPO Reno5 Pro. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia XZ3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OPPO Reno5 Pro has Android 11 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and better performance.
The Xperia XZ3 has a bit sharper display than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because although it has way less brightness and a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. OPPO Reno5 Pro and Xperia XZ3 have extremely similar processing units, and although the Xperia XZ3 has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Xperia XZ3 has a bigger storage for games and applications than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB. OPPO Reno5 Pro features a bit better camera than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also has a lot more mega pixels camera and a bigger aperture.
OPPO Reno5 Pro features longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 31 percent larger battery size.
