Comparison review
The HP Veer 4G is slightly better than the Palm Pre Plus, having a score of 40.5 against 38.5. Both of these devices include webOS operating system, but HP Veer 4G has newer 2.1 version while Palm Pre Plus has webOS 1.3.5 version, providing you some nice extra features and performance tweaks. The HP Veer 4G is a thinner and lighter cellphone than the Palm Pre Plus.
The HP Veer 4G has a much powerful CPU than Palm Pre Plus, because it has more CPU cores and a GPU. Palm Pre Plus has a bit sharper display than HP Veer 4G, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 480 x 320px and a bigger screen.
HP Veer 4G counts with a slightly better camera than Palm Pre Plus, because it has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera. Palm Pre Plus features a much bigger storage for games and applications than HP Veer 4G, because it has 8 GB more internal memory. Palm Pre Plus has greater battery lifetime than HP Veer 4G, because it has a 26% larger battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, HP Veer 4G is also a bargain compared to others.
