HP Veer 4G Review
Score: 40.5 / 100HP Veer 4G is a quite basic device launched back in 2011, which counts with a 5 megapixels back camera, a fast 800 MHz CPU and a little 2.6" screen.
HP decided to design the HP Veer 4G using a quite powerful processor running at 800 MHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM7230 system chip. Helping with graphic calculations, it also uses a 245 MHz Adreno 205 GPU. The HP Veer 4G has a good 8 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't count with a slot for SD memory cards, it should be enough to install hundreds of apps, but it might not be suitable if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available.
This cellphone is offerred in 2 color options, black and white. HP didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.63 ounces device, far heavier than other similar phones. This phone is a little bit thick compared to nowadays phones, being as thick as 0.59". The HP Veer 4G is 3.31 inches long, it just packs a much smaller 2.6 inches display.
HP equipped this device with a good 2.6" screen, and a resolution of 400 x 320 , making everything look quite vivid. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
This cellphone only features a 5 MP back camera. This cellphone also has geo tagging.
This cellphone counts with wifi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a router) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This cellphone uses a 910 mAh small Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate use. This cellphone has an estimated 300 hours stand by time and a 5 hs talk time.
