The Kyocera Hydro Elite is just a bit better than Pantech Discover, with a general score of 59.6 against 55.2. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Kyocera Hydro Elite has the newer 4.1 version while Pantech Discover has Android 4.0, so it provides some additional features. Kyocera Hydro Elite's body is somewhat thicker but a little lighter than the Pantech Discover, and both of them were released with only 8 months difference.
Kyocera Hydro Elite has just a bit better performance than Pantech Discover, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor and a 400 megahertz graphics processing unit, the Kyocera Hydro Elite also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Pantech Discover has a bit better looking display than Kyocera Hydro Elite, because although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, and they both have an equal 1280 x 720 resolution, the Pantech Discover also counts with a quite bigger display.
Kyocera Hydro Elite takes clearer photos and videos than Pantech Discover, although it has a camera with way less mega-pixels and a worse video definition. Kyocera Hydro Elite features as much memory to install games and applications as Pantech Discover, both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 32 GB.
Kyocera Hydro Elite counts with a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Pantech Discover one.
