Pantech Discover is a little bit outdated Android cellphone launched in January 2013, featuring an extremely powerful 1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU, a big 4.8-inches multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 12.6 megapixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.
This cellphone is very slim and comfortable, being just 0.36" thick. The Pantech Discover only has 5.28 inches long and 2.7" wide, but it manages to hold a 4.8" display. Pantech has made a really good design job making the Pantech Discover as lightweight as 4.76 ounces.
This cellphone has an awesome 4.8 inches screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, making everything look absolutely great. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
Pantech decided to equip this device using an exceptional 1500 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system chip and only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit disappointing considering the Pantech Discover's great processor. To help with graphic intensive tasks, this cellphone also counts with a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 GPU. A good point of this phone is its big 16 GB internal storage and an SD memory slot, allowing the user to store hundreds of applications without any trouble.
This device offers wi-fi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices acting as a wireless modem), 4G (LTE) high performance connectivity and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Pantech Discover works with a SIM card for GSM services.
