Moto G is a bit better than the Pantech Discover, having a 60.3 score against 55.2. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Moto G has 5.0 version while Pantech Discover has Android 4.0, providing a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. The Moto G is a newer cellphone than the Pantech Discover, but it's a little bit heavier and notably thicker.
Motorola Moto G and Pantech Discover feature similar CPUs, and although the Motorola Moto G has a larger number of cores and a much better graphics co-processor working at 450 MHz, they both have 1 GB of RAM. The Moto G features a bit more vivid display than Pantech Discover, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Moto G also counts with a little better screen pixel density.
The Pantech Discover counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB. Pantech Discover counts with a superior camera than Moto G, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video definition and a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
Motorola Moto G's battery lifetime is very similar to Pantech Discover's battery performance, although the Motorola Moto G has just 2070mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
Moto G costs a little more money than the Pantech Discover, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
