The Samsung Captivate is slightly better than Pantech Perception, getting a overall score of 57.2 against 52.5. Samsung Captivate's design is just a little lighter than Pantech Perception, but it's thicker and was released 3 years before. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Captivate has 2.3 version while Pantech Perception has Android 4.1.2.

Pantech Perception counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Captivate, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory.
