Comparison review
The Huawei P20 is slightly better than the realme 8 5G, with a score of 78.1 against 72. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 has 9.0 Pie version while realme 8 5G has Android 11, offering some extra features. Huawei P20 is an way older phone than the realme 8 5G, but Huawei could make it a bit thinner and lighter anyway.
The realme 8 5G counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a little bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution. The realme 8 5G has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the realme 8 5G also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB.
Huawei P20 features a bit faster processor than realme 8 5G. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores. Realme 8 5G captures a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the same aperture and the same video frame rate, the realme 8 5G also has a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The realme 8 5G has a superior battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
