Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a general score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than realme 8 5G's score of 72. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 5s has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and realme 8 5G has Android 11. Xiaomi Mi 5s is an a lot older phone than the realme 8 5G, but it's much lighter and a bit thinner anyway.
Realme 8 5G features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the realme 8 5G also has a greater number of cores (but slower). Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a slightly better display than realme 8 5G, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a really smaller screen, and they both have the same brightness, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.
The realme 8 5G counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the realme 8 5G also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The realme 8 5G has a superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.
Realme 8 5G captures just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the realme 8 5G also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 MP resolution and a larger diafragm aperture.
