Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than realme GT 5G, getting an 82.1 score against 74.8. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and realme GT 5G has Android 11 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star design is just a bit thinner than the realme GT 5G, but it's just a little bit heavier and was released 3 years before.
Realme GT 5G features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the realme GT 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Realme GT 5G features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger display and a little bit greater pixel density.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with more storage capacity for applications and games than realme GT 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 400 GB. The realme GT 5G has better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
The realme GT 5G has a much better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the realme GT 5G also counts with better video frame rate, a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
