The Samsung Captivate has a global score of 57.2, which is slightly better than the LG Optimus L9's global score of 56.1. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Samsung Captivate has the older 2.3 version while LG Optimus L9 has Android 4.1.2. Samsung Captivate's construction is much older, a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier than the LG Optimus L9.
LG Optimus L9 counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Captivate, and although they both have a 200 MHz graphics processor, the LG Optimus L9 also has more cores and more RAM. The Samsung Captivate captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG Optimus L9. They have the same video definition, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Captivate is also cheaper than the LG Optimus L9, which makes this phone a very good choice.
