The Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a general score of 60.8, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Captivate's 57.2 overall score. These phones use Android OS, but Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a newer 4.1.2 version and Samsung Captivate has Android 2.3. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a newer and just a bit thinner device than Samsung Captivate, but it's also just a little heavier.

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Captivate, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
