Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has an overall score of 79.3, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy A01's 71.6 score. Even though Galaxy S6 edge+ is notably older and a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A01, it's construction is still thinner. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the previous 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy A01 has Android 11.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A01, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a lot better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot better pixel number per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy A01 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A01 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. The Galaxy S6 edge+ takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a better resolution back-facing camera, a way better 3840x2160 video definition, a bigger aperture to capture better images in low light situations and a bigger sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s battery lifetime is just as good as the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy A01.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A01. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A01, giving up some specifications.
