The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is better than the Galaxy A10's score of 72.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and Galaxy A10 were released only 7 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star construction is somewhat heavier but just a little bit thinner than Galaxy A10. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A10 has Android 11.
Galaxy A8 Star features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy A8 Star features a sharper display than Galaxy A10, because it has a bit larger screen, more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1080 x 2220 resolution.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A10, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits 112 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A10, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy A8 Star takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy A10, because it has a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality photos and videos, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality, a bigger camera aperture and a higher resolution back-facing camera.
