Comparison review
The iPhone 12 mini is better than the Samsung Galaxy A12, getting an 88.5 score against 80.3. Even though the iPhone 12 mini and Samsung Galaxy A12 were released with only a couple of months difference, the iPhone 12 mini is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter. The iPhone 12 mini comes with iOS 14.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy A12 works with Android 10 operating system.
The iPhone 12 mini counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a much higher pixels density. Samsung Galaxy A12 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Apple iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
IPhone 12 mini has a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has less cpu cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone 12 mini also counts with a 64-bits processor. Galaxy A12 features a way better battery performance than iPhone 12 mini, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A12 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also counts with a lot more MP camera.
