The Google Pixel 3 XL is a bit better than the Galaxy A12, having a general score of 80.7 against 80.3. Google Pixel 3 XL's construction is lighter and thinner than the Galaxy A12, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Google Pixel 3 XL features a brighter display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution and way more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a much longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has a 46% more battery size.
