Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than Motorola Defy (2021)'s global score of 77.2. Even when Samsung Galaxy A12 and Motorola Defy (2021) were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy A12 is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A12 has an older 10 version and Motorola Defy (2021) has Android 11 version.
Samsung Galaxy A12 features a bit sharper screen than Motorola Defy (2021). They have a same size screen, the same resolution of 720 x 1600 and a better pixel amount per inch in the screen. The Galaxy A12 counts with a better memory for applications and games than Motorola Defy (2021), and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy A12 has just a little better performance than Motorola Defy (2021). Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM. Motorola Defy (2021) captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same video quality, the Motorola Defy (2021) also has a bigger aperture to take better captures and videos in low light environments and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 and the Motorola Defy (2021) both have similar battery performance.
