The Motorola edge has a score of 89.6, which is much better than Galaxy A12's 80.3 general score. Both phones we are comparing come with the same Android 10 OS. Although the Motorola edge and the Galaxy A12 were released with only a couple months difference, Motorola edge's design is a little lighter but a bit thicker than the Galaxy A12.
Motorola edge features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has a higher screen density, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bit bigger display. Motorola edge has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A12, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Motorola edge features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola edge also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy A12 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Motorola edge, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Motorola edge captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy A12, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and a much better 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
