Samsung Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo's 77 overall score. Despite being the best in this comparison review, it must be noted that it's also noticeably older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A12 has 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version.

Galaxy A12 counts with a lot better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a much sharper screen than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a same size display, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a higher pixel quantity per display inch and a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Edge 40 Neo's battery life is just as good as the Galaxy A12 one.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A12, because it has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and video, a more mega-pixels back camera and a lot better video resolution.
