The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a bit better than Moto Z3, with an 80.3 score against 77.6. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A12 has an older 10 version and Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy A12 is a a lot newer phone than the Moto Z3, but it is way heavier and incredibly thicker.
Motorola Moto Z3 has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 2160 resolution and a greater pixel amount per inch of screen. The Moto Z3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A12. They have 8 cores and the same RAM amount.
The Moto Z3 has more memory for applications and games than Galaxy A12, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto Z3 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A12 takes a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a way higher resolution camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a way better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
