Comparison review
Galaxy A51 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A12, having a score of 85.5 against 80.3. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A51 has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10. Galaxy A51's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy A12, despite of the fact that it was released just a little over a year before.
The Galaxy A51 features a much better display than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy A51 also has a greater pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Galaxy A51 has a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A12, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy A51's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy A12's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Samsung Galaxy A51 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy A12 counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A51, because it has a 25% greater battery size.
