Comparison review
The Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 general score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A12 has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. The Galaxy A12 construction is incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The Galaxy Alpha has a sharper screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy A12 features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy Alpha has a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy A12 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A12 also has a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a larger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low-light situations.
Galaxy A12 features a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh.
